Ramen Nagi.
A friend and I decided to eat at Ramen Nagi on SM North a couple of days ago. I kiddingly asked him if he could treat me now that he's employed and he said I'd treat him as well. I agreed since I wanted to try something new; he suggested ramen, I agreed, so we tried it out.
We waited for a while in the receiving area since the staff was still clearing some tables. The receptionist gave us the menu and reminded us about table sharing (where other customers could sit next to you if the seat is available) and no take outs. The atmosphere definitely screams japanese, with its rich wood floors and walls and red flags with writings on it that you see in a ramen shop from anime episodes. hehe
From what I've researched from friends and co-workers, the Black King and Green King were the yummiest. I told him that and he said we can order both. I ended up having the Black King since he was allergic to seafood, so Green King it was for him. Silly me, I was kind of shy taking a picture of my order because I was with him cause you know, I wouldn't want him to think I'm this basic girl who takes pictures of her food and post it online, so we ended up not taking any picture at all. haha
A staff gave us an omotenashi sheet where we can customize our orders even further. I added an order of Tamago because I want to. haha
my order: Black King ramen |
his order: Green King ramen (from candidcuisine.net) |
I wanted to try the Green King but I was shy to ask him if I could have some. He told me he also wanted to try mine but he couldn't because his allergies would come out. Next time though, I hope I wouldn't be too shy with him anymore. ^^
