Spaghetti Ala Pobre.

My version of spaghetti sardines. I like cheese so I excessively put loads of it.

Spaghetti Ala Pobre recipe
 Ingredients:
  • spaghetti noodles
  •  a can of sardines with tomato sauce
  • tomatoes, diced
  • garlic, minced
  •  salt and pepper
  • cheese, grated
Procedure:
  1. heat up water, put a little bit of oil and salt then bring to boil. Add the pasta noodles and cook until "al dente". (I don't really know what "al dente" means I just got off of the instructions from the packaging. haha) I check the noodles by cutting off a small bit and see if the middle is cooked.
  2. drain the water off the pasta, put pasta in a plate and set it aside.
  3.  for the sauce, cook garlic and tomatoes in oil for a minute. Then you can add the sardines and season with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add some cheese so it melts with the sauce. cook for about 3 minutes, i guess?
  4. transfer the sauce to the pasta. You can choose to mix it or leave it on top of the pasta, your call. Top with more cheese and some parsley, if you want.
  5. congratulations, you just made a meal for yourself. now go and enjoy your hard work! :)
**Variety: being the experimental chef, I also tried making spaghetti carbonara by combining left over carbonara sauce and tomato ketchup (I used Heinz). it was rad, I must say. :)
