and here's another one of my pasta dishes. It's an alternative for the spaghetti, actually. I bought those solo party pack of spaghetti noodles from Del Monte and it lasted me a good 3 servings. I've tried a different variety of this as well in terms of the ingredients but one thing they have in common is A LOT of cheese.

this is the brand I used for the sauce
Carbonara recipe
 Ingredients:
  • spaghetti noodles
  • carbonara sauce
  • carrots, diced
  • cooked spam, diced
  •  salt and pepper
  • cheese, grated
  •  water

Procedure:
  1. heat up water, put a little bit of oil and salt then bring to boil. Add the pasta noodles and cook until "al dente". (I don't really know what "al dente" means I just got off of the instructions from the packaging. haha) I check the noodles by cutting off a small bit and see if the middle is cooked.
  2. drain the water off the pasta, put pasta in a plate and set it aside.
  3.  for the sauce, cook spam and carrots in oil for a minute. Then you can add about 5 tablespoon or more of carbonara sauce, a bit of water (if the sauce is too thick for you) and season with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add some cheese so it melts with the sauce. cook for about 3 minutes, i guess?
  4. transfer the sauce to the pasta. You can choose to mix it or leave it on top of the pasta, your call. Top with more cheese and some more spam, if you want.
  5. congratulations, you just made a meal for yourself. now go and enjoy your hard work! :)
"healthier" version

**Variety: for a more healthier version, you can use mixed vegetables (corn, peas and carrots). Just substitute it to the spam and you're good to go. :)
